Best place in the city to chill with friends and family. Best thing about them is their BBQ chicken and the facilities High speed wifi also available . If you want to chill then it is the best. Rooms are also decent.

The cottages are just next to Murti River. Rooms are neat and clean. Services are prompt. Foods are okay. There is a large nice garden in front of the cottages. Sightseeing tours can be arranged from the cottage or one can avail cars from taxi stand which is situated at 5 minutes walking distance from the cottage. Overall excellent experience.

Peaceful place , one can spend two to three night peacefully. Beside govt tourist lodge, in front of Murti river. You can relax here, don't expect elephants or business, very rare to find them, only peacock and human can be found.

I recently had a pleasant stay in resort called Gorumara Nature's Cottage in Murti, West Bengal. The location of the property was fantastic; almost on the bank of Murti river overlooking Gorumara forest on the opposite side. The lawn of the hotel was nicely decorated with lots of flower plants. We took a triple bedroom which was specious and clean; and from the balcony one can enjoy the scenic beauty of Dooars. Moreover, on a clear day one is able to view the top of Kanchenjunga peak! The staffs are helpful. The restaurant attached offers good quality food. Even my 2 year old son could eat there. They can also arrange safari inside the jungle if informed in advance. Overall a very satisfactory stay for a couple of days.

Relaxing stay for a family holiday.

I checked in on 24th of December , 2017 for 3 nights and found it a perfect place for a family holiday. This resort is situated on the banks of Murti river and just veside the Murti Tourist Lodge of WB tourism. Staffs are very much cordial. Food is good. Resort's restaurant serves thali as well as a-la-carte dishes. There are six river facing cottages and two rooms in the first floor. They have 2, 3 and 4 bed accomodations. There is a personal touch in owners behaviour to make you feel at home. All our requirements were adfressed immediately. The cost is also pocket friendly in a pick season Murti is a very small town but with so limited options but the warmth in staffs service will make your stay very pleasant. The car that has been arranged by the resort for site seeing, pikup and drop is driven by another nice person Sajid who has made our tour very much comfortable.
